I recently had the pleasure of working for Vicky as part of a small team brought in to turn around an  underperforming manufacturing site, which had been poorly integrated following acquisition. I can  personally attest to Vicky’s ability to coach a team to quickly identify key improvement areas, to  document and track the critical actions and to set a stretching timescale for completion. A combination  of empowering the team and providing direction, support and individual and collective coaching  produced some exceptional results; far quicker than the executive team expected and believed was  possible. From a personal perspective, Vicky coached me to become a better leader and effective  communicator In particular, Vicky understands the importance of communication and employee  engagement in achieving improved performance and has a skill set that ensures both these requirements  are delivered. Vicky quickly gets to the core of the issues and lays them out and then lets  the team make the changes. Vicky led the shaping and direction of the European Operations Development programme for current and  future leaders with true passion, knowledge and insight. After aiding the delivery of the programme, the  comments coming back from the candidates were truly outstanding. Vicky’s energy and inspiration is  infectious and this is what our leaders shared with us. We will continue the programme and hold tightly  onto Vicky’s vision and enthusiasm aiming to channel as much of her energy as we can into future  modules. She brought such useful reminders and important life and career messages.

Vicky brought something to this business that had been missing, great leadership and coaching with  people at its core. Her understanding of how to get then best out of everyone is a skill only a few  possess. Some talk about it but she lived, breathed and coached it in detail.

Vicky is in the top 3 most influential people I have ever met. What I have learned from her about life  and people has been equal to any business skill. She has played a massive part in making the last 4 years  the best in my life yet. I’ll never forget that and cannot thank her enough. Strong, insightful, challenging yet incredibly supportive. 

I was initially wary and afraid of this person, having been influenced by senior people that were probably  feeling intimidated and were questioning their own abilities. Then I became more involved with this  person and I was still afraid and would feel the apprehension building when I had to sit in front of them  and try and prove my worth. But then the light came on. This person isn’t wanting me to feel this way,  they want me to grow. They want me to work to my potential and strive for better. They want me to be an integral cog in a highly functioning team. But, this individual is also a real person who has  feelings, just like I and everyone else does. They are not afraid to share these thoughts and feelings and  this is such a gift that when they do, we all feel like we are able to have common ground and  understand a little bit of what makes an achiever tick. This is inspiring and has made me grow. I have  the utmost respect and admiration for this person and I think that if we can all learn and replicate little  bits of what they do, we can keep on growing. If we could have some of the energy, some of the drive, some of the tenacity of this person then we’ll do well. This person has helped me, has guided me and  prepared me, unlike any role or mentor before and I will sorely miss them.  

Even in a limited time, Vicky’s personal impact on me was huge; how she approaches things, the  knowledge, the empathy and experience she speaks and acts with – in a short time she has had a huge  influence on me. She is so very insightful – it is quite unique. 

Having worked with Vicky for three years, I can happily say the coaching I have received was exceptional.  On many occasions she offered me challenging, honest and inspiring points both for my work life and my  personal life. She brought clarity to what it truly meant to be a leader which in turn helped me build a  winning team.
